i got a SKB PS-25 pedal board used from Starving Musician. I don't use the on board electronics, just go straight through my pedals:

Boss Chromatic Tuner>Boss Blues Driver>fairly cheap plastic Phaser>Boss Tremolo>Boss DD-5 Digital Delay

I set most of them so there's not much major change to my sound. The DD-5 is set on a slapback type delay, very quick and with few repeats.

BTW the DD-5 which I guess yous guys fixed has been cutting out. Tre my guitar tech/bass player found you had put the back cover on upside down. he assumed you did that to keep the electronics on the circuit board inside from touching the metal cover, since flipped over it puts the rubber to the motherboard.

to fix the perceived problem he put a bunch of paper between the circuit board and the bottom, which he put on rubber side down.

we'll see if it works.

alright you got me. I'm playing through my roughly 11 year old Carvin, at least for practice. i set it on the dual-coil though i would rather play single coil, because the single coil produces a nasty buzz through my blues driver.

i just started using a tremolo arm through my Wilkinson floating bridge and it is JUST AMAZING what it has done for my sound. i also broke a string because of it but hey. DAMN THE TORPEDOES!

FINALLY i am still using the roughly 10 year old Fender Twin, switching channels constantly but I think i've settled on the high gain, setting the gain knob at like 3 or 4.

at shows i usually use a modified Ibanez butt-rock style guitar with one double coil near the bridge, a Floyd Rose type locking string tremolo system and a flaming yellow paintjob.

whoa, what happened to the fender mustang? can i use it?

i just strung my old strat copy (which is in terrible shape, esp. the electronics) DDDGGG. it's totally sweet, tons of natural chorus, and you can also get a sort of delay sound if you play it right... without pedals!

i'm contemplating replacing the pickups in my epiphone les paul (pretty nice, at least 15 yrs old) with nice gibson ones... just as soon as i get the 100w ampeg head i just bought working, i suppose.

when are you and chiefs coming to chicago? i wanna visit soon.

i was constantly breaking strings on the Mustang. i'll give it another go. Also the tremolo uses a size of whammy bar that i can't find, i'll have to macguyver it. no u can't have it.

MP&TC is stayin' local for now. I'll put Chitown on our five year plan. did you see the pin i gave neha?
